Nice to Meet You!

Growing up, I was always a big computer kid. My mom often recalls seeing a tiny four-year-old me sitting in front of our very large desktop in the ‘90s, lost in my computer games. Fast forward a few years and I was busy coding my Neopets pages and obsessing over the design. Back then, I never knew that those early interests would eventually lead me to a career in product design that I absolutely love.

Nowadays, I spend my time designing engaging software applications that help users navigate through workflows that would otherwise be complex. I still try to keep that curiosity and love of building things that I had as a child at the forefront of my work today. My favorite projects are the ones that I can lead from discovery to implementation, and combine my love of research and visual design to create solutions that make software fun to use.

When I’m not designing, you can find me hiking with my pup Owen, listening to a wide array of podcasts, and searching for the best plant-based meals in my city.

Values & Approach

COLLABORATION

The best solutions are created through thoughtful partnerships where each individual can share their expertise. I believe in partnering closely with engineering, product, and any relevant cross-functional teams to create successful design solutions.

KINDNESS AND RESPECT

This is my number one for work and life - kindness is always at the center. When we treat ourselves, our team, and our customers with kindness and respect, it creates space for magic to happen. Everyone has their own expertise and unique abilities to contribute.

OPEN-MINDEDNESS

A big part of being a designer is remaining open minded to alternative solutions and opinions, which I always strive for. This comes into play both during collaboration with my team and while testing & receiving user feedback.

FLEXIBILITY

A true design process is rarely linear. I strive to design with business needs and constraints at the forefront, and these can often change unexpectedly. I set out to maintain a strong design process and be adaptable when things need to take a different direction.
